Film Vic announces Amplify Victoria, a podcast production fund

The newly announced documentary development funding initiative co-funded by audible has a view to supporting the production of premium podcasts.

Film Victoria are partnering with Amazon-owned audiobook provider Audible to launch Amplify Victoria, a new documentary development funding initiative for Victorian factual content creators. This fund is intended to help creators develop captivating true stories in the podcast format.

Film Victoria and Audible are calling for strong and challenging ideas that spark conversations and examine issues from different perspectives, with a well-developed multi-episode narrative and relatable subjects. The total funding pool is $60,000, and will be split between up to six creative projects. The funded podcasts will be developed with the intention to release them on Audible, or to be adapted for screen. No previous screen or podcast credits are required to apply.
