This a story which begins around 1889 at the Exhibition Universelle where the Eiffel Tower was officially unveiled. A Moroccan musician called Kalifa was brought in to play at his country’s pavilion. He married a French woman and settled down in Paris.

Two world wars later, a young Frenchman surnamed Kalifa travelled to India in search of himself and his destiny. He met another French woman. They became lovers, travelled a lot and settled into the network of collectives around the Sunshine Coast hinterland. Their son Jaina had a wonderful childhood.
