Today Screenrights, AWGACS and the Australian Writers’ Guild jointly published a bland announcement which ends a legal dispute which has rumbled since March 2016 and generated a substantial amount of anger. Outsiders were presented with the unedifying spectacle of the two industry organisations expected to support writers paying lawyers to fight each other.
