On a dark, bleak stage, the elephant-headed Hindu deity Ganesh wants to recover the swastika, the symbol of divinity and spirituality stolen by the Nazis. The year is 1943, Ganesh is in Germany, and he has tracked down Adolf Hitler.
At the same time, Brian Tilley and Simon Laherty are actors, part of Geelong’s Back to Back Theatre, which is a collaborative group of artists with intellectual disabilities. Together with artistic director Bruce Gladwin they have devised this project together.
