Screen Sector unites to call for bipartisan support

With an election approaching, the sector is dancing the non-partisan two-step, though the tune itself is a bit sinister.

The Australian Screen Industries Group, an intermittent but valuable collection of pretty well all of the guilds and associations, has made a joint appeal for a bipartisan approach to the sector just two months before the expected election. As Kingston Anderson from the Directors’ Guild said, ‘We ‘ve spent the last six months working as guilds together to come up with a comprehensive approach to the industry, and whittle that down into the essential elements.’
