THE POSITION

The successful applicant will provide support for the Post Production team to enable the refinement of photo realistic interior and exterior visualisations and animations to client brief and GS standards, in the post production stage. Completing sub-tasks that assist in meeting deadlines and ensure better quality of outcome. The GS post production team handles the 2D aspects of the visualisation process.

There are five primary accountabilities for this role:

1. Post Production Enhancement and Colour Grading Assistance

Enhance the visual appearance of projects in the final post production stage for a photorealistic outcome. Provide assistance to the Post Production Artists on the following tasks: File & Version Management, Image & Footage Clean-Up, Colour & Tone Grading, Retouching & Beauty Polishing, QC & Final Delivery Prep and Compositing & Matte Work.

2. Research and New Software Testing

Research, sourcing and testing of new software packages that can support and improve the Post Production team’s finalisation of visualisations and animations, taking direction from the Post Production Artist & Aesthetic Director. This will include testing AI tools and workflows for integration into the post production stage.

3. Asset Management Maintenance

Active maintenance of asset registers including filing and tagging of digital assets in line with GS protocols.

4. Photographing Material Samples and Site Locations

Supporting the Visualisers by photographing material samples and site locations in a timely fashion, whilst effectively representing the Gabriel Saunders brand. Assisting in the creation of photography briefs for external photographers.

5. Project Planning, Execution, and Milestone Management

Collaborating with the Production Manager, Aesthetic Director and Post Production artists to ensure projects are planned in accordance with the GS process and agreed timelines. Effectively communicating with team members across appropriate channels, to ensure project updates, questions and feedback is received and responded to in a timely manner

The skills and experience the ideal candidate will bring to the role:

• Proficient in a range of software and an interest in testing
• A basic understanding of photography, video editing and Adobe Photoshop
• A meticulous eye and attention to detail
• Experience working with colour in digital environments
• A strong research mentality, with willingness to test new softwares and approaches
• A portfolio of visual works, along with a genuine commitment to craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail
• Bonus: Drivers license for attending and photographing project sites
