Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special – 24 March

Special. Celebrate the iconic series that defined a generation, exactly two decades after its Disney Channel debut.

This special will be filmed in front of a live studio audience and will feature an exclusive, in-depth interview with Miley Cyrus, hosted by Alex Cooper. The conversation will offer an intimate look at the creation of one of pop culture’s most iconic characters and the lasting impact the show and character have had on fans around the world.

With heartfelt nostalgia and fresh perspective, Cyrus will revisit the moments, music and memories that defined an era. Docuseries (2025). The Rocky Mountain Mortician Murder examines the 2012 death of Byron Griffy, a beloved 76-year-old Colorado funeral director, who was found shot in his home. When Aussies Kate McCartney and Kate McLennan (The Katering Show) turned their hand to a dark parody of small town murder series, the result was a global hit – pulling off the rare feat of being both a quality parody and a solid example of the thing it was sending up. Forget Tassie Noir, Deadloch Season 2 is entering its Tropical Goth era in the Top End.

It’s been three years since we last hung out with the crime-fighting duo of Senior Sergeant Dulcie Collins (Kate Box) and Detective Eddie Redcliffe (Madeleine Sami). Now, they’ve left the chilly town of Deadloch for Eddie’s home turf of Barra Creek in the Northern Territory, where the duo seeks to uncover the truth about the death of her former police partner.

Sticky, sweaty and juggling comprehensive thrush infections, the detectives find themselves embroiled in a world of crocodile-fuelled tourism, overstretched Indigenous rangers, cagey locals and seven-metre-long prehistoric predators. As the humidity builds, and Eddie and Dulcie dig deeper, more questions arise – not only about the case, but the many secrets that lie beneath the surface of this small town. Sounds like hot stuff.

The first two episodes of Deadloch Season 2 premiere on 20 March, with new episodes released weekly, culminating in the season finale on April 17. Watch the trailer.

The new season of Our Medicine goes deeper into high-stakes emergency care, cultural healing practices, and emotionally resonant patient journeys on Country and in community.

Expanding its reach across ambulance services, major hospitals, youth justice and remote healing centres, the series captures the intensity of emergency medicine alongside the quieter, powerful work of cultural healing and continuity of care. Series. This Emmy-winning series might have been unavailable to audiences for years, but its warm-hearted charms are ready to be discovered again. The series stars Rob Morrow (Quiz Show, Numbers) as a recent med school graduate who owes four years of medical service to Alaska because of a condition of his student loans. After relocating to the remote town of Cicely to settle his debt, it isn’t long before the brash New York City native realises the unique eccentricities of the town’s inhabitants.

This hilarious and beautifully written dramedy also stars John Corbett (United States of Tara, Sex and the City) and Janine Turner (Steel Magnolias, Cliffhanger).

Nepobaby – 19 March

Series. In this Norwegian Succession-style family comedy, a single day completely changes Emma’s (Vivild Falk Berg, Porni) life. She learns she’s an heir to one of Norway’s oldest and wealthiest shipping dynasties. Her estranged father, who recently passed, secretly added her to his will and the family business.

Americanish – in this romantic comedy film, three young Pakistani-American women – career-focused sisters Maryam and Sam Khan and their just-off-the-boat cousin Ameera – try to find a rich husband in Queens, New York.

Lunch With Us Season 1 – In this six-part series, filmmakers travel across Asia to explore the locals’ favourite lunch dishes, and uncover stories behind their midday meals.

Coroner Seasons 1-4 – 22 March

Series. This character-driven, one-hour procedural drama from Canada is based on the Jenny Cooper crime novels by M. R. Hall, following Dr Jenny Cooper (Serinda Swan), a recently widowed new coroner who investigates any suspicious, unnatural, or sudden deaths in Toronto.

Jenny taps into her intuition as much as her intellect and heart as she solves cases along with the help of Homicide Detective Donovan McAvoy (Roger Cross), a man who isn’t afraid of challenging status quo; pathologist Dr Dwayne Allen (Lovell Adams-Gray), his assistant River Baitz (Kiley May); and Alison Trent (Tamara Podemski), Jenny’s assistant who keeps it real.

Empty Nets – 24 March

Film (2023). On Iran’s northern coast, Amir struggles to secure steady work in the fishing industry while pursuing a secret romance with Narges, whose family expects greater stability. Economic precarity and social norms create tension, forcing their relationship into risk and quiet compromise.

Fallen Leaves – 25 March

Film (2023). In contemporary Helsinki, solitary workers Ansa and Holappa meet by chance and begin a tentative romance. With minimalist, deadpan style, the film captures loneliness, resilience, and the subtle possibilities of love, winning the Jury Prize at Cannes and reaffirming Finnish master Aki Kaurismäki’s signature humanistic vision.

Series. A world premiere, this heartfelt new Australian drama stars Claudia Karvan, Luke Wiltshire, Jazi Dall, and Roxie Mohebbi.

When trans man Darcy reluctantly returns to his regional hometown to care for his estranged mother, Nora, he’s shocked to discover that she has secretly been living with Dee – the ghost of his pretransition self – who manifested two years earlier.

Nora hopes Darcy’s arrival might help them all move forward. Trapped in the house with her mum, Dee is a powder keg of teen emotions, which manifest in flickering lights and electrical short circuits. However, Darcy and Dee clash, competing for their mother’s attention.

Cases this season include the murder of a fashion mogul that everyone had reason to kill; a game show that turns lethal; wild animal attacks in High Park; and a dangerous hostage situation at a roadside inn.

This City Is Ours: A Crime Family Saga – 5 March (AMC+)

This acclaimed BBC crime drama set in Liverpool follows the chaos that ignites when notorious gang boss Ronnie (Sean Bean, Game of Thrones) steps back from his criminal empire, triggering a violent power struggle between his volatile son Jamie (Jack McMullen, Hijack) and trusted lieutenant Michael (James Nelson-Joyce, A Thousand Blows), who suddenly sees a chance to claim the throne.

100 Nights of Hero – 6 March (AMC+)

Film (2025). When her neglectful husband departs after placing a secret wager to test her fidelity, Cherry (Maika Monroe) and her sharp-witted maid, Hero (Emma Corrin), must fend off a dangerously seductive visitor: Manfred (Nicholas Galitzine, Masters of the Universe).

This buzzy ensemble fairytale from writer-director Julia Jackman also stars Amir El-Masry (Limbo), Charli XCX (I Want Your Sex), Richard E Grant (Can You Ever Forgive Me?) and Felicity Jones (The Brutalist). The film is an adaptation of the New York Times best-selling graphic novel The One Hundred Nights Of Hero by Isabel Greenberg.

Newly certified mortician Rebecca Owens (Arrow star Willa Holland) accepts a night shift at a mortuary, embalming bodies alone after hours. As disturbing events escalate, Rebecca uncovers demonic rituals, the dark secrets of her enigmatic mentor (Boardwalk Empire‘s Paul Sparks), and her own buried trauma – racing to survive the night before her body becomes a vessel for possession.

The Feud on Shelbury Drive – 30 March (Acorn TV)

Series. In this six-part British drama, Emma (Jill Halfpenny, Humans, EastEnders) and John Barnett (Rupert Penry-Jones, Black Sails, The Strain), along with their daughter Beth, appear to live an idyllic life on Shelbury Drive. However, when Emma and John decide to add a kitchen extension to their house, these friendships prove to not be quite as harmonious as they seem.
