United States of Tara Seasons 1-3 – 1 December
Series. Suburban wife and mother Tara Gregson (Toni Collette) juggles her family and career while experiencing the everyday challenges of Dissociative Identity Disorder. It’s never a dull moment in the Gregson household as her various identities may appear on any given day, all while her supportive husband Max (John Corbett) and their two teenage children, Kate (Brie Larson) and Marshall (Keir Gilchrist), try to lead as much of a ‘normal’ life as possible.
Raised By Refugees Seasons 1-2 – 1 December
Series. It’s the new millennium in Auckland City, and Pax Assadi (Kenus Binu) is a 12-year-old who’s obsessed with hip hop, basketball, girls and Eddie Murphy.
His parents (Pax Assadi and Kalyani Nagarajan) came to New Zealand in the late 80s as refugees and all they want him to do is study hard and eventually become a doctor. All Pax wants to do is fit in and feel accepted, but with 9/11 a very fresh memory, that’s easier said than done for a part-Pakistani part-Iranian kid.
Best of 2025 – 1 December
Featured collection. Rewind and relive the best of what 2025 had to offer with a collection devoted to the series that Australia couldn’t get enough of this year.
The Handmaid’s Tale. The Handmaid’s Tale returned for its sixth and final season, exclusive to SBS.

Reckless – 12 November
Series. A bold new First Nations drama. When feuding siblings June (Walton) and Charlie (Page-Lochard) cover up a deadly hit and run in their hometown of Fremantle, their lives spiral wildly out of control. As the lies pile up, so do the consequences and soon, everyone in town has something to lose.
Fast and fearless, Reckless, written by Kodie Bedford (Mystery Road, Return to Paradise) and Stuart Page (Total Control, Cleverman) is a uniquely Australian take on crime and chaos where small-town secrets, family feuds and guilt make for explosive TV. Watch the trailer.

What It Feels Like For A Girl – 14 November
It’s a new millennium – Madonna, Moloko and Basement Jaxx top the charts, and there’s a whole world to explore. But teenager Byron (Ellis Howard) is stuck in a small working-class town that hasn’t been the same since the coal mine shut in the 80s.
Sick of mam, sick of dad, sick of being beaten up for ‘talkin’ like a poof’. Sick of everyone shuffling about like the living dead, going on about kitchens they’re too skint to do up and marriages they’re too scared to leave. Byron needs to get away and doesn’t care how. Watch the trailer.
