The debut feature work of writers/directors Emma Hough Hobbs and Leela Varghese, Lesbian Space Princess follows the adventures of an introverted space princess who is thrust out of her sheltered life and into a galactic quest to save her bounty hunter ex-girlfriend from the Straight White Maliens.

Special (2026). Our world needs Kermit, Miss Piggy and the whole gang more than ever before. So thank goodness, The Muppet Show is returning in 2026 with a special event on Disney+ marking the 50th anniversary of the original variety series.

Produced by Seth Rogen and featuring guest star Sabrina Carpenter (who is also executive producer), the hope is that this special will serve as a ‘backdoor pilot’ for a potential new season of the iconic series.

Bombing Pompeii – 4 February

Special (2023). During August and September 1943, Allied forces dropped over 165 bombs on Pompeii to dislodge German soldiers, causing significant damage and leaving up to 10 unexploded bombs in unexcavated areas. This 43-minute documentary special from National Geographic follows a scientific team using advanced technology to locate these ticking time bombs.

Docuseries. This three-part docuseries tells the chilling story of a scandal at a school in Sweden, where a paedophile â€“ despite warnings from students â€“ was able to continue working for eight years.

More than 150 schoolchildren were abused by their own youth leader. The paedophile scandal at the Internationella Engelska Skolan (International English School) in Karlstad is the largest of its kind in Sweden to date, and shocked the entire country when it came to light.

Series. The highly anticipated new season from creators Bill Lawrence, Brett Goldstein and Jason Segel. The series follows a grieving therapist (played by Segel) who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives, including his own. 

In addition to the ensemble cast, season three brings back guest stars Goldstein, Damon Wayans Jr, Wendie Malick and Cobie Smulders, along with new additions Jeff Daniels and multi-award winner and activist Michael J Fox.

Yo Gabba Gabbaland Season 2  â€“ 30 January
