The second season of the historical drama prequel continues the parallel origin stories of Jamie Fraser and Claire Beauchamp’s parents in 18th century Scotland. Henry and Julia hope to return to their own time period to baby Claire, while Ellen and Brian’s escape has been cut short by the onset of the 1715 Jacobite Rising, separating both couples as Scottish clans are forced to choose sides in the conflict.
