UK-Australian See-Saw buoyant over Ammonite deals

See-Saw Films secures major deals for Ammonite before UK production begins in March.

LONDON, UK – 4th February, 2019 –See-Saw Films has closed key deals pre-market on upcoming romantic drama AMMONITE, starring Kate Winslet and Saoirse Ronan, it was announced today by the company’s joint managing directors Iain Canning and Emile Sherman.

After a heated bidding war Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions won the majority of international territories. Lionsgate picked up the distribution rights for the UK and Transmission Films for ANZ. Cross City will be launching sales on the remaining territories at the European Film Market in Berlin this week with CAA Finance co-repping domestic rights. The film will begin principal photography in March 2019.
