There was a small and mildly-amusing irony in Nielsen’s session on time-shifted viewing (TSV) being put back in the programme to a slot later than originally programmed, but what was potentially a very dry facts and figures session turned out to be an interesting insight into the changes to the viewing figures Nielsen will put out from late next year.

Nielsen’s Caroline Atford helpfully supplied a definition of TSV early on in the session – interesting as much for what it didn’t contain as for what it did.
