The ABC and Screen Australia have announced ten successful teams for their 2023 Fresh Blood initiative.
Fresh Blood has been the launchpad for the careers of many of Australia’s newest comedy writers, directors, and performers.
This year’s teams were selected from more than 400 entrants, and each has received $50,000 to make three comedy shorts (that’s three each, with a runtime of up to five minutes for every episode). The teams are currently taking part in workshops in Sydney.
