Palmerston North’s Reel Earth festival has announced its 2010 programme. Billed as the Southern Hemisphere’s largest environmental film festival, 10 Kiwi films will screen as part of the programme.

The festival attracted more than 200 submissions from over 40 countries. 78 films were selected, with 18 nominated in the award categories of Short Films (up to 15 minutes); Short Films (15 to 45 minutes); Features; and New Zealand-made.
