The NZ Mountain Film Festival (NZMFF) released its programme this week. Possibly the programme launch was a little overshadowed by the more or less simultaneous release of the NZFF’s programme, but the Mountain Film Fest is well-formed and in Wanaka, a place most of the NZFF’s host venues would struggle to compete with.
The 5 days of 50+ outdoorsy and adrenaline-addict films, selected from over 90 entries, accompanied by talks, presentations, workshops and even a yoga session – something you definitely won’t find at the Rialto – offers up a winter treat, not to mention a bit of a getaway.
