A week after Brent Impey stated in his John O’Shea address at the SPADA conference that there were too many production companies operating in the NZ market, Greenstone today announced that it had taken over Cream Media in a ‘lock, stock and barrel’ deal, effective immediately.

As yet, there is no decision about whether the Cream brand will disappear, according to Greenstone GM Brian Hall. The deal makes Greenstone New Zealand’s biggest independent producer of factual programmes.
