Video game developer Konami is ready to reveal more about the upcoming spin-off Silent Hill: Townfall, and it’s set to do so in a new Silent Hill Transmission showcase, airing after the PlayStation State of Play on 12 February.
For now, there’s not a whole lot we know about Townfall and how it’ll adapt the horrors of the franchise, but with recent releases like the Silent Hill 2 remake and Silent Hill f revitalising the series, there are high hopes for what comes next.

Cryptic clues about Silent Hill: Townfall
To start with, we know Silent Hill: Townfall is a spin-off that aims to do something different with the franchise. It’s in development at Screen Burn (Stories Untold) and Annapurna Interactive, with both working alongside Konami.
A single, major teaser video has been released for the game so far, as well as several images, all of which seemingly contain hidden code and strange references.
Following the release of the first trailer, one Reddit user used a spectrograph to uncover a hidden message in the trailer’s audio file: ‘Whatever heart this town had has now stopped.’
Within the trailer, users also noticed noticed spoken, written and Morse code messages, such as ‘I don’t know how to leave’, ‘Thy flesh is weak’ and ‘SOS’.
While these teasers are all very esoteric, they add up to a mysterious, haunting new horror adventure that – as creative director Jon McKellan said in 2022 – will ‘respect’ the Silent Hill source material while trying something entirely new.
How to watch the Silent Hill Transmission showcase
As shared by Konami, we’ll get a new look at Silent Hill: Townfall during the latest Silent Hill Transmission. It will likely be the core focus of this upcoming showcase, although we could get new looks at other Silent Hill projects, too.

The streaming link is yet to be confirmed, but the showcase will more than likely air on the Konami YouTube and Twitch channels.
