Game publisher Fellow Traveller has announced it will host a new ‘Story-Rich Showcase’ around Summer Game Fest 2026, with this designed to elevate narrative games, and the talented developers bringing them to life. The showcase will align with the goals of Fellow Traveller’s LudoNarraCon, an annual festival also inspired by narrative games and their impact.

What to know about Fellow Traveller’s Story-Rich Showcase
As shared by Fellow Traveller, the Story-Rich Showcase has been created to fill a gap for narrative games around Summer Game Fest season, providing a new platform for developers to share their latest works, and highlight the meaning and power behind their stories.
‘There are some games that stay with you long after the credits roll, the ones that make you feel something, think something, or call a friend just to talk about what you played,’ the publisher said. ‘In 2026, Fellow Traveller is making room for a new space to celebrate exactly those kinds of stories.’
‘Carefully curated and story-first, the showcase is designed to be human-focused, accessible, and easy to cover. It will feature a lineup of narrative games alongside developer-led segments that highlight the people behind the work, their ideas, processes, and creative journeys.’
Those watching can expect new announcements, first looks at upcoming games, confirmed release dates for anticipated titles, and more.
Currently, Fellow Traveller is seeking interest in this upcoming showcase, with a view to spotlight as many developers as possible. Those in a position to contribute to the Story-Rich Showcase have until 28 February to submit their work for possible inclusion.
Fellow Traveller’s Story-Rich Showcase will push out LudoNarraCon 2026
Notably, Fellow Traveller’s new showcase will have an impact on its annual LudoNarraCon show. Where previously, this would take place around May, it has now been moved to 8-12 October, to give room.
‘This shift allows both events to shine in their own way, with the Story-Rich Showcase delivering a focused, announcement-driven moment during the Summer Game Fest period, and LudoNarraCon continuing its tradition as a celebration of narrative games with demos, discounts and more,’ Fellow Traveller said.
For now, those keen to see what’s to come will need to stay patient, but at the very least, it’s good to know Fellow Traveller will be bringing two doses of new game announcements and spotlights in future. Further details about the Story-Rich Showcase, and this year’s plans for LudoNarraCon, will be shared in the coming months.
