The official selection for the BitSummit Punch 2026 games showcase has been revealed, with a glittering array of new and upcoming games set to be featured. The annual showcase, set to take place from 22 to 24 May in Kyoto, Japan, shines a spotlight on indie games, with a focus on bold, creative and experimental experiences.
There’s plenty of games from Japan included in the lineup, but we’ve also spotted a handful of Australian-made games selected, including upcoming silly footy simulator Pro Jank Footy, and tactical bullet hell shooter Enter the Chronosphere.
As announced, the showcase features a diverse lineup of games, all of which chart different genres, themes, and gameplay styles. For attendees, BitSummit Punch 2026 will be a chance to see the full breadth of the global indie games industry, and to experience so many cool new adventures.
