How far can reality television go? Probably not to public executions, because the mobile phone voting would be too gross, and the losers can’t be interviewed.

Exactly a year ago, Endemol Germany thought it was on a winner with an on-air sperm race. A woman who wanted to get pregnant would pick a father from up to a thousand eager hunks, all out to attract her with their brains, brawn and proto-feminist wiles.
