The beginning and end of the journey to make and release The Railway Man relies on two iconic cultural veterans known for their ferocity. Rock and roll manager Bill Curbishley and producer and studio executive Harvey Weinstein go back forty years. László Kriston covers a loooong production story.

Bill Curbishley, producer of Quadrophenia and longtime manager of The Who, spoke to ScreenHub at length at the San Sebastian Film Festival about his long-cherished dream that took 15 years to bring to the screen.
