Announced in the state budget, Film Victoria’s $2 million TV Pilot Program provides some local muscle to the fevered push for more long form drama. A scheme which other State Agencies could find verrrrry interesting, if they can get their own treasurers in the requisite headlock in the presence of witnesses.

Victoria’s television production industry can now bring new stories, characters and pilots for series to life before they are commissioned by a television network thanks to a new multi-million dollar lifeline available from the Bracks Government.
