The Screen Producers Association of Australia (SPAA) is allocating resources to provide its membership with practical advice on how to use the new Producer Offset. The Project Manager will be Greg Rickertsen.

This comes after the long and grueling fight to get the best possible deal for independent producers in the new tax legislation.

SPAA has created a new role of SPAA Production Executive. This position combines functions of the SPAA Industrial Officer job with a new emphasis on practical hands-on production advice, including in the longer term the Producer Offset. Experienced and knowledgeable line producer, Ann Folland has taken on the job.
