The premiere of ‘Mad Men’ delivered an outstanding result for SBS with an average of 410,000 viewers last Thursday 16th April, according to figures from OzTAM.

The episode achieved almost double the average viewership for the same 8.30pm timeslot in 2008.

From the writers of The Sopranos, Mad Men is a stylish drama revolving around the conflicted world of Don Draper, the biggest ad man (and ladies man) in the business, and his colleagues at the Sterling Cooper Advertising Agency. The series authentically depicts the 1960s advertising world while also exploring true human nature beneath the guise of traditional family values.
