The Nine Network tonight confirmed that John ‘Sam’ Newman has today undergone surgery for prostate cancer, having been diagnosed approximately three weeks ago.
Nine Network Executive Director and GTV9 Managing Director Jeffrey Browne said Sam is resting in hospital and recuperating after the operation this morning. Nine is unable to elaborate any further on his condition at this stage.
