Nine Network Managing Director, Jeff Browne, today announced the following appointments: Michael Healy will become Director of Television and Andrew Backwell will become Director of Nine Programming and Production.
Michael Healy will have responsibility for all aspects of Nine, GO! and GEM.
Mr Browne said: “Michael is an outstanding executive having delivered very significant ratings growth in 2010 with the Network winning the advertiser preferred demographics of People 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54. Michael has enormous skill and capacity, demonstrated over a long and sustained period with Nine, and the addition of our new channels creates a further opportunity to use his skill and experience to deliver further incremental growth across our broader schedule.”
