NFSA: formidable, complete, determined

Two new appointments to NFSA, to create a complete, exquisite, one-off box set of senior curators.

The National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA) has confirmed the final two appointments in its senior curatorial team. Michael Lim has been appointed as the Senior Curator of Moving Image and Matthew Davies as the Senior Curator of Recorded Sound.

Michael Lim brings more than ten years experience in the film and new media industries in Australia and overseas to the position of Senior Curator of Moving Image. He holds a Master of Arts in Television Drama as well as a Bachelor of Commerce, and is a graduate of the L. Jeffrey Selznick School of Film Preservation. Michael has a strong curatorial background, and has produced and directed a wide range of corporate and creative short films. He is actively involved in digital filmmaking and new media production and will take up his position at the NFSA in mid-June.
