ABC Director of Television Kim Dalton has announced a further $300,000 will be provided for young documentary makers, under the jtv docs initiative. The announcement was made in Brisbane yesterday at a special public screening of two jtv docs.

ABC TV and the Australian Film Commission (AFC) are again putting out a nationwide call to emerging filmmakers, who are 35 years and under, to submit proposals for finance to fund several one-hour or half-hour documentaries.
