Series. Bosch: Legacy Season 3 – 2 July

Series/ Retired homicide detective Harry Bosch (Titus Welliver) embarks on the next chapter of his career and finds himself working with former enemy Honey ‘Money’ Chandler (Mimi Rogers).
In Season 3, the murder investigation of Kurt Dockweiler brings dangerous secrets to light. The disappearance of a family haunts Harry Bosch and forces him to confront the limits of justice.
The Tour De France 2026 – from 5 July
Sport. Cycling’s superstars are set to break records at the Tour de France 2026. Anticipation is high for four-time Tour de France winner Tadej Pogacar, who will be competing for a historic fifth title, a feat that would place him among the sport’s all-time greats.
Australian cyclists will also be pursuing stage victories this year, including Tour de France stage winner and 2022 Giro d’Italia champion Jai Hindley, legendary climber Michael Storer, stage-winner Ben O’Connor, and Luke Durbridge for his final season.
For the first time in 55 years, the Tour’s Grand Depart is a team time trial, racing through the vibrant streets of Barcelona. Over 21 dramatic stages, 184 riders representing 23 teams will cover 3,333 km across Spain and France.

Elder in Residence Oration with Richard Frankland – 5 July
Building on the extraordinary legacy of the late Widjabul Wiyebal woman of the Bundjalung nation, Aunty Rhoda Roberts AO, acclaimed filmmaker, writer and proud Gunditjmara Elder Richard Frankland delivers this year’s SBS Elder in Residence Oration reflecting on storytelling, cultural responsibility and the role of First Nations voices in shaping Australia’s future.
Drawing on a lifetime of work across film, activism and community leadership, Frankland speaks to the enduring power of culture, the importance of truth-telling, and the responsibility of storytelling to create understanding and meaningful change.
Frame by Frame – 9 July
Series. Hosted by acclaimed filmmaker and proud Arrernte and Kalkadoon woman Rachel Perkins, Frame by Frame is a compelling interview and short-film series celebrating the creative vision and cultural legacy of First Nations filmmakers.
Across the series, Perkins sits down with influential storytellers including Leah Purcell, Sally Riley, Erica Glynn, Tanith Glynn-Maloney and Hunter Page-Lochard to explore their careers, creative process and contribution to First Nations screen storytelling.
Blue Water Empire – 5 July

Blending dramatic re-enactments, archive footage, animation and an original score by Will Kepa, the series explores the impact of colonisation while celebrating the resilience, leadership and enduring seafaring traditions of Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Living Black | Kutcha Edwards – Becoming One – 6 July
In a special edition of Living Black, host Karla Grant sits down with proud Aboriginal singer-songwriter Kutcha Edwards for an intimate and deeply personal conversation.
Removed from his family at just 18 months old as part of the Stolen Generations, Edwards reflects on the lifelong impact of separation and his journey of reconnection with his mother and culture. Speaking candidly about healing, survival and finding his identity, Edwards shares what it means to be ‘deadly’, and how music has become a powerful vehicle for storytelling, truth-telling and cultural strength.

The Expanse Seasons 1–3 – 11 July

Alone Australia Season 4 – 15 July
Series. Smash-hit survival series Alone Australia drops its highly anticipated fourth season into its most ambitious location yet, plunging 10 brave souls into the brutal, yet spectacular wilds of the Arctic Circle.
Deep in the northernmost reaches of Sapmi, Finland, they face a gruelling survival experiment where the subzero landscape grows deadlier by the day.
Set against a breathtaking backdrop of dancing Northern Lights, this season delivers a brand-new spectacle of bushcraft, ingenuity and survival. Thrust into an unfamiliar Arctic environment, participants must navigate unknown flora, risky first-time foraging challenges, where a single mistake identifying fungi could turn a life-saving meal into a lethal one, and rapidly dwindling resources – all while coexisting with formidable predators.
Cold Haven – 16 July
Series. This Icelandic-Portuguese crime thriller is a tense psychological drama of betrayal, resilience, and the cost of truth. On the remote Icelandic island of Vestmannaeyjar, the close-knit fishing community is shaken when Maria Santos (Maria Joao Bastos), a devoted mother and factory worker, is found dead on a desolate roadside. Her death sets off a chain reaction, exposing long-buried secrets and threatening to unravel the fragile bonds holding the town together.
Six Four – 29 July
Series. This four-part thriller is set primarily in Glasgow and is a compelling story of corruption, betrayal and an uncompromising search for the truth.
When their teenage daughter goes missing, serving Glasgow police detective, Chris O’Neill (Kevin McKidd), and his wife Michelle (Vinette Robinson) – a former undercover officer – use their skills to try and track her down. Michelle heads to London in a quest that puts her dangerously close to the criminal underworld she previously escaped. Meanwhile, Chris gets a tip-off about an infamous, unsolved kidnapping involving another teenage girl.
Say Nothing – 30 July
Series. Say Nothing is a gripping story of murder and memory in Northern Ireland during The Troubles, based on the book by Peabody Award winning writer Patrick Radden Keefe.
Spanning four decades, the series opens with the shocking disappearance of Jean McConville, a single mother of ten who was abducted from her home in 1972 and never seen alive again.
Starring Lola Petticrew, Anthony Boyle and Josh Finan.

The Brigade Season 2 – 18 June

Series. Following a shoot-out between drug traffickers and police, Saïd’s elite team of young officers finds itself at the centre of a major investigation that turns out to be far more complex than expected. As they do everything they can to take down one of Europe’s biggest traffickers, a ruthless and mysterious gang of armed robbers emerges, threatening to derail their mission.
Coldwater – 10 June

Series. Coldwater is a blackly comic thriller from the inimitable playwright David Ireland. John (Andrew Lincoln, The Walking Dead) is shocked to find himself in middle age, secretly raging at his life as a stay-at-home dad.
When his failure to intervene in a violent confrontation in a playground brings his identity crisis to a head, John up and moves his family to the small Scottish rural idyll of Coldwater, to live as far away from London as possible.
