AACTA introduces $50,000 Reg Grundy Award for Unscripted TV

In search of fresh formats and open to the public the new award provides a mix of development funds and prize money.

The Australian Academy of Cinema & Television Arts (AACTA) has announced a new initiative to honour the late Reg Grundy, pioneer of Australian format television.

The annual AACTA Reg Grundy Award has been established in partnership with Grundy’s wife, Mrs Joy Chambers Grundy, Chairman of RG Capital, author and businesswoman.
