The government’s MYEFO or Mid-year Economic Forecast Outlook is a way of giving and taking government expenditure six months after the budget, handily placed just before Xmas. 

This year it claims to allocate  $4.6m in the next financial year to ‘contribute to the development of Australian film and television content.’
