‘The Green Book win is both predictable and disheartening’

They said we wouldn’t but we did it: Image – Green Book. However, this shot also encapsulates some of the objections to the film. 

The ref made a bad call” in awarding Green Book Best Picture. But it’s a call we should have foreseen. 

This year’s Oscars generated a grand total of two genuinely great television moments.
