Ratings are over for 2016 so we won’t get the national figures until early 2017. We have to be happy with comparing the results with the previous week and picking through the drek of summer TV for the gems.

Last week’s figures were distorted by the cricket on Nine.  But this week’s rise in the daily shares for the other networks is less than we would expect because SBS continued its remarkable run with the last episode of First Contact.
