ABC and SBS: cuts mooted but no shotgun marriage

Why is the Lewis report into the ABC and SBS so secret? Nothing in the report suggests the downfall of nations.

The Lewis Review into ABC and SBS efficiencies has produced a 140 page report which remains highly secret.  But the Fairfax media claims to have been briefed on the document, and The Australian has seen the eight page summary. The Guardian is in play too. We can build a general picture and add a dose of scepticism, since our digging says that the details now in public are accurate, but the interpretations can be superheated.
