AFI/AACTAs moonlighting in La La Land

Each year the AACTA's does an international competition, which helps to claim some attention as an Oscar predictor. Here is the list.

The Australian Academy manages to sustain its affection for our own cinema (speaking loosely) in the Best Film, Best Director and Best Script categories. We have less affection for Moonlight than others, which could be a problem since there is an underground feeling it could win heaps. But we too have lined up behind the early competitions to put La La Land on the top charts.
