Wide Angle cooks up social media game show with AFTRS

Wide Angle Tasmania partners up with AFTRS to create an online production competition which would make a reality TV show.

The announcement that Wide Angle Tasmania is working with AFTRS to develop a course called Step-out Web 17 is a moment of quiet triumph and a sign of changing times. 

By the end of 2015, Wide Angle was defunded by Screen Australia and on the edge of collapse, but still determined to continue in the unique local screen ecology. It was saved by anonymous donations which enabled it to explore longer term opportunities.
