Foxtel eats Presto, pushes Seven off the table

First broadband TV brand bites the dust as Presto gets the chop from Foxtel and Seven.

Sadly, there was no rabbit in the hat for Presto, which has lost its wand and retired into the shadows. Image: Zan Zig in 1899. 

In a flurry of releases, Foxtel and Seven announced that their joint venture Presto will close on 31 January 2017. Customers will be transferred to Foxtel Play, and the brand will disappear. It is decorously described as ‘an invitation’ to Presto customers to transfer. But existing customers will turn up on Play regardless.
