Specialty Equipment: Gearhouse and Camera Corps

Gearhouse Broadcast has chosen Camera Corps to provide speciality equipment for the eighth series of ITV’s autumn reality television programme I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here!. The contract includes a large number of miniature 16:9 cameras configured for day and night shooting, plus robotic heads and a newly developed high-efficiency multi-channel control system. The control system allows each of the 75 cameras to be accessed from up to four operator control panels. Any of the four operators can control any of the 75 remote cameras pan, tilt, zoom and focus. Up to four CCU panels are also provided for engineering control and these can control any of the camera types being used.
