Digital Content Creator

We are seeking a talented and driven Digital Content Creator to join our Communications & Marketing team.

Screen Australia is the Commonwealth Government’s primary agency for supporting Australian screen projects, practitioners and businesses. We support projects of scale and ambition, distinct local stories told with strong creative voices and risk-taking content for all platforms.

 

The successful candidate will be engaged under the Screen Australia Act 2008

 

About the role

Screen Australia is seeking a Digital Content Creator to be responsible for creating and publishing engaging content across multiple digital channels, crafting diverse and compelling content that supports the agency’s digital engagement strategy. The role will use channel insights to guide and improve content creation for both internal and external audiences, ensuring consistent and effective communication across all digital channels.

 

About you:

  • Tertiary education in Media, Communications, Arts and/or relevant experience in content creation, publishing on digital channels and content management systems.
  • Experience developing, implementing and tracking digital communication strategies.
  • High-level experience in a wide variety of existing and emerging digital platforms.
  • Ability to demonstrate production of compelling content that achieves corporate objectives and reinforces key messaging.
  • Demonstrated experience in filming, video editing, image editing and writing skills, coupled with a high-level attention to detail and talent for crafting engaging short-form video and digital content.
  • Experience with analytics suites (Google Analytics), EDM software (Mailchimp), community management software (Sprout) and working with Adobe Creative Suite, ideally InDesign, Photoshop and Premiere Pro.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the Australian screen and games sector.
