Quickflix has done a deal with Jinni, an internet movie search and recommendations technology company, that will see the hire company deploy the Movie Genome engine.

This is a semantic search and recommendation engine that helps “viewers find movies and TV shows to match their personal moods and tastes.” The service analyses metadata and reviews to catalogue movies and TV across thousands of parameters, according to its designers.
