Despite its recent successes, KEO has announced that its Australian office will be closed. It is described as ‘a change in focus that has come about as a result of an organisational review to realign the business.’

KEO was never going to have an easy time in the Australian factual market, particularly since it is more ABC and SBS format than commercial television. The domestic scene is dominated by Australian and international companies which are very experienced, dealing with broadcasters who demand quality while keeping budgets down.
