Box Office: 15 May 2017 – Heath Ledger doc takes hold

Backlot, the tri-city minitheatre/mixing house, has made an unusual foray into distribution. I am Heath Ledger is actually made by the Americans around production company Network Entertainment, which may be evident from the total absence of Candy in the film. Out on 42 screens at $4902/screen it has taken $241,641, a pretty fine swag. It is about to air on US Viacom cable subsidiary Spike TV.
