Blue Murder Motel – 7 March
Series. In this brand-new murder mystery series, married ex-cops Vinny and Cole have swapped the homicide beat in Sydney for their retirement dream, running a retro seaside motel in a coastal New Zealand town. But only six weeks in to their new life, that dream takes an unexpected, annoying turn when they suddenly find themselves assisting the town’s laidback surfer cop in his investigations.
Blue Murder Motel stars Aussie actors Michala Banas and Brett Tucker, who previously appeared together in McLeod’s Daughters.
Top End Bub – 7 March
Series. A follow-up to the smash-hit film Top End Wedding, comes this heart-warming new series starring Miranda Tapsell and Gwilym Lee.
Lauren and Ned are living their best life in the city, which is tragically interrupted when Lauren’s sister Ronelle dies in a car crash in the Top End. Rushing back to Darwin, the couple is thrown into the chaos of Top End life.
Compass – 8 March

Australian Story: Nabbed – Ian Williams – 23 February
Factual Series. Australian Story is back on our screens with a new season in 2026, with host Leigh Sales exploring the power of the personal and sharing compelling stories about real people that illuminate, entertain and inspire. New episodes drop every Monday night.
In this week’s episode: When Victorian pensioner Ian Williams lost $1338 in a banking scam, he expected a quick refund and apology. But his bank, a subsidiary of the National Australia Bank, blamed him for the transactions, despite Ian’s dogged detective work producing clear evidence to the contrary.
The bank’s attitude so incensed the self-confessed ‘stubborn bugger’ that he sued for it for $379,005,000. Australian Story followed Williams through the ups and downs of his court case and its aftermath, as he sought to hold the bank publicly accountable and draw attention to the massive problem of online scamming.
Superbuns – 23 February

Foreign Correspondent: NATO Under Attack – 24 February
Factual Series. The ABC’s landmark current affairs program, Foreign Correspondent, returns for 2026 with a timely episode from Denmark as NATO countries face their biggest security crisis since the second world war.
For months, the ABC’s Europe correspondent Bridget Rollason has been tracking events in Denmark, as the country navigates security concerns over a ‘hybrid war’ with Russia while also dealing with the shocking threats made by one of its key allies – the United States. Watch the trailer.
