Reality series. Season 13 of Alone raises the stakes like never before – crowning the first-ever World Champion. For the first time in the series’ history, 10 elite survivalists from around the globe will be dropped deep inside the Arctic Circle, along the unforgiving Richardson Mountains of Canada’s Northwest Territories.

Representing Australia is Nero Buys from regional New South Wales. After a career in the Australian Army including serving in Afghanistan, he left the army to become a stay-at-home dad. During this time, he discovered a love for bushcraft and sharing this knowledge with others, including setting up a children’s outdoor program alongside his wife Jen. Now he is keen to bring his years of Australian bushcraft experience to the Alone challenge and compete for the title of World Champion.
