US company RG Entertainment has announced Weta as its SFX company for the upcoming Wind in the Willows, with Kim Sinclair (Black Sheep, Under the Mountain) named as Production Designer.
The film, the latest in a long line of adaptations of Kenneth Grahame’s 1908 book, will shoot in NZ later this year.
The production is an independent one, with no US studio currently named as either investor or distributor. Ray Griggs, owner of RG, has raised the US$30M budget through private investors.
