Still, TV runs to a schedule even more rigid than the PM’s or Warner Brothers, there was advertising revenue at stake, and it wouldn’t have been a good look for the PM to have backgrounded the negotiations and only got as far as, “As a result of our discussions…” when Sixty Minutes kicked in.
