Show Me Shorts Film Festival kicked off in Auckland last night with a glamorous opening and awards night. Finalists were competing in eight award categories, as judged by experienced film industry writer Kathryn Burnett, director James Cunningham and actor Tammy Davis.
This is Her was the only multiple winner on the night, converting two of its five nominations to wins and taking home the coveted Kodak Best Film Award along with Best Screen Play. The Six Dollar Fifty Man continued its successful festival run by taking away Best Director.
