Screen Warriors recruits veterans for film & TV development

Defence force veterans can retrain in film & TV rolesas part of a new program delivered by AFTRS and the Veterans Film Festival.

A world-first program to recruit, train and mentor defence veterans into Australia’s burgeoning film and television industry is being launched as a joint initiative of the highly regarded Veterans Film Festival (VFF) and the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS).

The screen industry is keen to recruit and train suitable defence veteran candidates to fulfil a pipeline of skills demand, according to the Veterans Film Festival (VFF) Executive Chairman Warwick Young OAM.
