Saturday night saw the Gala Opening of the Reel Earth Film Festival in Palmerston North, with awards presented to the winners and commiserations to the rest.
Scott Mouatt’s Unnatural History of the Kakapo, also a winner at the Documentary Edge awards in March, left clutching a couple of gongs.
