The Adventures of Tintin is one of 18 animated features submitted for the Animated Feature Film Oscar.
Almost half of the submissions (Tintin included) don’t yet qualify for consideration as yet, not having done their theatrical stint in the US, but all win complete those runs before the announcement of five nominees on 25 January (NZ time). The Academy Awards take place on Monday February 27 (NZ time).
